(Title Image featuring a trip-free safety gate) Pretty much everybody knows about the ‘nesting’ phase when you’re awaiting the arrival of a little one. Whether that phase be from the wordΒ “Congratulations!” or a few days before the big day, nobody … Continue reading A Guide to | Nesting with a Disability

New elves arrived on 1st December - Holly and Tinsel Sprinkles after our past elves Joy and Alfie were visiting other children this Christmas (cough.. lost in the move πŸ˜”) Despite the unexpected elf reassignment, the girls were very excited to welcome to the new sibling duo. They came in style via a make shift zip wire, crash landing in the Christmas tree. #elfontheshelf #elfontheshelfideas #elfantics #advent #MotherhoodInspired #christmastree #xmas2019
Life of a hoist user with kids... Get attacked with stickers throughout entire transferring back and forth process! If its not lack of #ChangingPlaces preventing me from going to the loo, it's the children 🀣🀣 The irony! #JustWantedAWee #MummyBlogger #MumLife #MumOfGirls #Blogger #WorldOfLittles #MamaDiaries #MotherhoodUnplugged

Hope everybody had a great #Halloween! πŸŽƒ This was our first spooky holiday in our new home, in a new area. Sadly 99% of people didn't answer their doors when we took the littles #trickortreating, however, the girls were more excited by A) dressing up, B) Mummy doing their stage makeup and C) getting to go out in the evening, therefore bedtime being delayed! We had a few kids at our door and made a conscious effort to have non-edible spooky things for any children with allergies. If only more of the community came together to make sure every child was included via schemes like the #TealaPumpkinProject. Here's some snaps of our Halloween, the following day the littles were in full #Christmas mode πŸ˜‚ How was your Halloween? #ChildhoodMemories #WorldOfLittles #ChildhoodUnplugged #HalloweenCostume #HalloweenSpirit #ChristmasCountdown

We adopted a black cat specifically because we discovered black cats are the least adopted from catteries, rescue centres and breeders due to superstition πŸ˜”. While most of society believe seeing or being in the presence of a black cat will bring bad luck, in many cultures black cars are actually a symbol of good luck and prosperity! Olly is very outdoorsy and great with the girls. Some days he ventures out right after his breakfast and we have to coax him in late at night. Other days he's catching up on his beauty sleep, picking the most inconvenient places to sprawl out. Particularly on the kitchen table, on important paperwork or in doorways blocking everyone's path. He has no fear of my wheelchair! He's very playful for 7 years old and occasionally brings in presents. Watching him chasing flies is hilarious! Olly definitely rules the roost in our house, we are his people and he owns us haha. If you're thinking of getting a cat, please help break the stigma. #BlackCats need homes too. #catsofinstagram #cats_of_instworld #blackcatsofinstagram #blackcatsclub #rescuecat #adoptable
